How was the party?
SO much fun- huge party, cocktail hour with 2 carving stations, 3 pasta stations, etc. etc.
The cake was 4 tiers like a wedding cake, plus they had fruit and pastry platters on every table. There were huge floral centerpieces, a photog and a videographer.
If it was this huge and this fun with half of her wedding crowd, I'm pretty excited for the real wedding. We definitely got our money's worth between the amount of drinking we did, and the amount of food we ate

I read all the responses here and I am the total odd man out. I would decline the engagement and bachelorette. 50/50 on the bridal shower and then give $300 for the wedding. But that's me and I don't like being with people and don't like going places. I got married in less than 5 months from when I got engaged and did not want a shower, but my mom insisten on throwing me on. Honestly I still wish she had not. I did not have a bachelorette and he did not have a bachelor party. We don't like attention and neither of us saw any reason for any of it.
