So, im finally going to Kalahari
I finally pulled the trigger and we are going to Kalahari. Unfortunately we cant go during the week so we are driving up in the afternoon on a friday (from the city) -- ahhhh the nightmare, and getting in around 630pm. Is the water part open late? Like would you go to the room, throw on your bathing suits and go down and enjoy the water area at that hour and nibble on some food?
Not sure what the layout is.
I was thinking if we cant do that we could just eat and do some bowling or mini golf the first night.
TIA for any recommendations!

So, im finally going to Kalahari
The water park is open until 10pm. The little restaurants in the water park often close early but, you can get food from the arcade and bring it in.
The bowling isn't real bowling and that and the mini golf don't take long to get through. They are in the arcade which may take a little longer to get through.

I would go to the waterpark when you get there. The crowds thin out for the dinner hours so you will have a much easier time and less lines.
So jealous- I love it there!

We really like the steak house there. The past couple of times we've gone - we've gone there.

I hear the Italian place is good too.
We used to eat off site at Barley Creek Brewery but they don't take reservations and it gets crowded if you don't go early.

if your up for it go when you get there but double check the time they are open too I feel like it may only be to 9 (i know some days they close earlier than others).
Its usually really empty at night.
we always just eat at the bar grill place they have there (cant remember the name)
