Hot flash during period?
Hi ladies - I've seen a few posts on here about hot flashes / night sweats with PMS - but has anyone gotten one during their actual period? I had what i would describe as a hot flash last night, which was the second full day of my period. I got super hot and my back got so sweaty - and i also felt kind of weak and shaky during it - is that part of the experience? I am 38 btw. Thanks.

Yup!
I had one yesterday on cycle day 2 while attempting to put make up on. My face was melting off and I had to take a break and sit in front of a fan for 15 minutes
Now I’m finishing up day 3 and am getting the heart palps as I write this. I can’t stand it!

Yup!

Ok thank you - sorry you are suffering. I got the racing heart thing too with it. Men have no clue how good they have it!

Yep it's all part of getting older, sadly.
I hate it.
And now that I had my DD I am very regular so I get my period all the time it seems like- before I had her I'd go months without one.
I feel like I only feel good like a week to a week and half after my period then the ovulation starts and my boobs get insanely sore, etc for 2 weeks.
I hate it

That’s just awful. I just feel too young to have some of this happen! And I hate the new surprises that pop up - like this hot flash thing I had (assuming that’s what it was, I think it was).  and I’m sure it will only get better

I get hot flashes and night sweats as part of menopause.
Fun stuff when the sheets get all damp and hot.
