I don't think he ever admitted to anything.
So... he's doing community service, he forfeited his $10K bond and his record is sealed. Does that mean he pled guilty and now his lawyers are on this mission to rehabilitate his image?
In my mind, there is no doubt those 2 brothers attacked him. They have video surveillance of them buying the ski masks, the rope, etc. Whether they set him up or he staged the attack himself, I don't know. I wonder if he will ever comment on the evidence with the brothers.

The evidence, the admittance, not to mention waste of resources.
He should be charged. I do not think he was set up. He did this for attention.

Did you see Rahm Emanuel on GMA this morning? He is PISSED! This is not over. There is definitely going to be some form of an investigation. This is way too high profile of a case wherein the police and the mayor are so in dispute of the prosecutor's decision. Especially when the state attorney is clearly stating they are not exonerating him. Even legal commentators are baffled. I find this whole thing fascinating.

Now there are all these theories.
Obama made a call to have the charges dropped.
That Kamala Harris is his Aunt (2020 Presidential hopeful) and she made some calls. But this was debunked. Who the heck knows. I know the Mayor of Chicago is FUMING.
