Meal Ideas for 1 year old
I feel like my daughter is eating the same thing over and over, and I'm looking for new meal ideas. This is what she currently eats, on rotation.
Breakfast- pancakes, waffles, french toast sticks, eggs with cheese, toast with PB, apple sauce, fruit purees, yogurt with fruit bars, cheerios
Lunch- grilled cheese, PB&J, deli meats, CHEESE (loves her cheese), yogurt, veggie/fruit purees, rotisserie chicken
Dinner- ground turkey/meat, rotisserie chicken, broccoli & cheese tots, rice, pastina w/butter, tortellini, broccoli/peas/cauliflower, turkey or chicken meatballs, beans.
She has a texture issue with fruits and veggies that I'm bringing up to her pediatrician at her 1 year visit, so all fruits and most veggies are mashed/pureed.
Anyone have a creative or fun meal ideas I can start introducing? She had an allergic reaction to spinach at 7 months, so we've held off with that. I plan to introduce it to her slowly again, since she will be coming off of formula and I need to keep her iron levels up (she hates red meat).
Thanks!

That actually looks like a pretty good variety! My DD also liked Mac n cheese (I used to sneak pumpkin and/or butternut squash in it but now she notices), mashed cauliflower, quesadillas, pizza, quinoa.

That's a ton of food! Neither of my kids will eat even a fraction of that.

Yep. My 8 year old barely eats half of that stuff! Count your blessings

That really is a great variety. Since she's open to so much I'd just introduce whatever you can think of in case that changes lol. Fish (Fish sticks, any mild white fish, shrimp), other grains like lentils or quinoa, sausage, quesadillas are nice bc you can mix in different proteins or veggies, maybe sweet potato fries or roasted broccoli would have a more appealing texture?

I'm actually shocked that you guys think that's a lot of variety- I am hearing from my friends and family all.the.time that its not enough, add veggies/fruits, too much carbs and give her more. Thanks, makes me feel a little at ease.
Ill try the suggestions listed above and see if she likes them!

Then tell them to cook for her!
I agree it’s a great variety, especially for 1. Other things to try...smoothies, cottage cheese, beans. There are “pancakes” you can make with just an egg and banana.

Babies don't have to worry about carbs. Jesus Christ if they did my DD would be an obese 8 year old by now. Her whole diet is carbs even now! People need to mind their own business. I would never DREAM to make a comment about what a friend or family memeber's child was eating or not eating. Time to get a life if they do.

Really? Here is what my 3yo eats:
cereal (and only a limited type), pancakes or waffles once in a while, chicken nuggets, pasta w butter (never sauce!), yogurt, white rice, corn, and most fruits
That's it. Literally.
She has never in her life tried pizza or a bagel. She used to eat cheese but stopped a long time ago. She won't eat veggies, aside from corn. She won't eat deli meat or any sandwich because she won't eat bread. She won't eat eggs. She won't eat a hot dog or a hamburger. On Thanksgiving we have to trick her into trying the turkey by calling it chicken. I kid you not. All 30 people at Thanksgiving say, "Carve the chicken!"
EDIT: I had to edit my post because last night DD decided she no longer likes fish sticks either. She asked me to make them for dinner, then looked at them and said Yuck.

Meal Ideas for 1 year old
I feel like some adults don’t eat that much variety - looks good to me.
My son - now 4 - used to eat literally everything. I have I’ll say that hI had become pickier as time has gone in. I just make sure I keep offering him things even if he refuses them cause I hope one day he’ll like them again

I'd be thrilled if my 11 year old ate that much. I think you are fine. Just keep introducing fruits and vegetables. My daughter still only eats a few veggies, no fruit and she is doing just fine.

I made these last night and DD likes them. I told her they were quinoa cookies and she loves herself some cookies. https://juliasalbum.com/spaghetti-squash-quinoa-and-parmesan-fritters/
The spinach is optional so you can leave it out.

OMG this is my son! not all the same, but limited to about 8 things lol.
To the OP, that sounds like an amazing well balanced diet to me! I wish he would eat even a quarter of that!

Same. DD barely eats anything but carbs and scant sources of protein. And she is the healthiest kid I know. We really don't eat veggies at all. Occasionally. And we stopped keeping fruit in the house when DH went keto because to be honest I don't eat it either and it just rots. To be honest, fruit is a lot of sugar. Just a healthier way to get your sugar. LOL
We're all surviving quite nicely.

Re: Meal Ideas for 1 year old
I showed my husband this thread because he is one of the ones telling me she needs to eat more of a balanced diet because she's so finicky with certain foods/textures- so THANK YOU!
Yeah and I told my family member that said she was having too many carbs to shove it and stop fat shaming my 1 year old. I swear, some family thinks it's appropriate to say WHATEVER they want with no consequences
Thanks again everyone! I will try adding those options to her meals
