My son is on the spectrum, and it has helped tremendously for his anxiety. We give him the liquid by mouth.
Be careful which ones you take, make sure they are reputable brands.
Yes I did a lot of research. It seems you want brands that use Hemp grown in the US- where the standards are stricter.
You also want to look for 3rd party lab testing- to make sure all the THC is removed.
And of course you don't want any kind of synthetic CBD
that is absolutely not true.. b/c see my previous post...
So why is it illegal to use hemp grown in the US? I have no idea what the "farm bill" is?
And where should it be grown? I hope not China.
And if it's illegal... why aren't these companies shut down that are growing hemp in the US?
Hemp has been banned and demonized since the 1930's ..its still a schedule 1 drug classification of the DEA. Hemp is a type of Cannabis Sativa, and so is Marijuana. Different plants, same family. It is only able to be grown under these research pilot programs the farm bill set up in 2014, but not for commercial products. Hemp can be grown and imported in from China, Canada, Europe, Jamaica, etc. Just not in the US. Its ridiculous honestly.
the products I distribute for has hemp grown out of Austria, certified organic and grown w/o chemicals.
the problem is that the DEA isnt allowed to use federal funds to go after these companies (or thats how I understand the law to be). But States have rights and can and have shut down or arrested store owners, and confiscated products.
Ah! How interesting. I never knew any of this. The sad thing is, hemp is being found to help with SO many diseases and ailments. And it doesn't get you high.
Why on earth doesn't the govt get with the times? Ridiculous is right!
Because they allow it to be imported from other countries... so how bad can it be?

I absolutely agree with everything you said. and CBD can help opiate addicts. Cannabis is being studied as way to wean addicts off of opiates. Hemp is grown to be low in THC. You can take CBD from hemp all day and not get high. I've learned alot in a few months reading all this stuff and studying it. It really is interesting.
its all about politics, back door deals, and big companies being in the pockets of our govt.

I also read something recently that it has been shown in very early animal studies to kill cancer cells without harming other cells.
But of course, they will never study that any further because big pharma won't like that.
And plus- hemp is EVIL!!

my aunt had stage 3 colon cancer and opted not to do chemo for many reasons. She instead opted for a naturopathic oncologist and was treated with high doses of VIT C via IV; and Ozone treatments. Ozone is amazing b/c it targets only the bad cells. Chemo kills everything..which is why everyone who is on it is immune compromised. Ozone protects your good cells.
but like you said, big pharma.
I have read that Monsanto and Scotts are trying to buy up marijuana farms and synthetic marijuana is already in the works :(

The CBD is also being studied in animals for seizures. My dog has a severe seizure disorder and her vet volunteers around the country and often in Colorado and they are using CBD in dogs there which is now approved for dogs with seizures and they are finding near zero rates! He mentioned getting her into a drug trial in the future when research moves into NY.

Yup..we have many customers that use straight up CBD oil for the doggies and cats. We do have a pet line releasing soon, dog chew toys and other products. Its very good for them.

Good to know! Currently her insurance pays for the medication so if it does get approved in NY for animals, I’ll have to see if the insurance will pay. She has liver issues as well and I’m sure the high doses of 2 different seizure medications don’t help the cause. If I do try it for her I want her to be under a close vet care because her seizures are so severe
