Not sure how I am supposed to feel today.... 1 year anniversary.
My Dad passed away 1 year ago today. I can see still him take his last breath and leave us.
I can still hear the doctor say that his cancer wouldn't kill him. (He was dead less than 2 months later).
Today I have to pick up my mom, my grandma and my aunt to go to the cemetery and then go out to lunch.
I wish I could just go to the cemetery by myself and go on with my day and be miserable alone. But now I have to pretend that I'm fine all day and try not to cry in front of them.

I understand...My mom passed exactly a year ago yesterday...
My family came to the city to hang out with me and my husband...
I wanted to be alone too but being with them really helped. I'm actually feeling worse today...
I'm so sorry for your loss...Life can be so unfair and your dad was taken way to soon...I hope you can find some peace today and can take solace in your family....
ETA: Please FM me if you need to chat, vent, ect....It's so odd how close together our losses were
