Caught me off guard...
My grandma passed in February of this year. She was my last living grandparent. DH lost his last living grandparent (his grandpa) the same weekend, the year before.
Tonight I went to my mom's house to check on it since they are away. Her answering machine was full so I went through her old messages. A lot of them were cute ones from her grandchildren... but then one was my grandma. 
I listened to it and literally almost fell on the floor sobbing... I feel like she just died all over again.   I've been crying for over half an hour and I don't think I'm going to be stopping anytime soon. I couldn't delete the message... part of me wonders if my mom saved it just so she could hear her mom's voice if she needed to...
Hearing her voice made me so sad. I miss her so much.

No doubt she saved it for just that reason
My Grandma has been gone 13 years...I WISH we had her voice somewhere to hear.
So sorry it hurt so much all over again
