Deet is HEAVY DUTY BUG REPELLANT. Be sure whatever you get has Deet in it, it's the strongest there is...oh and BTW, you will need it...lol...that's ok tho, I hear the same about Alaska and we just booked our cruise there for peak bug season, so I'll be buying a case of it too!! They're in Freeport. My family has been going to Maine since my mom was a little girl. My grandmother owns a cabin on one of the lakes (inland). I've never stayed on the coast. Just taken day trips there. I think that most people that visit go to Bar Harbor. Ogunquet (sp?) is also nice. And there's Kenibunkport (sp? again)-(where George Bush Sr. vacations.) You could probably google the state and find their tourist page. That could get you started. It's a great state to visit. I love going up there. DH and I will be spending a week in August there.
