I liked it, but I thought "Geisha, a life" was by far a better book. Memoirs of a Geisha is historical fiction, so the main character is sort of a composite of different geishas. Geisha: a life is the true story of a woman who was adopted at a very young age by an aging geisha who had no heir to take over the business. Posted 5/16/05 4:29 PM |
