Donation wording for a favor! Repost from NFR.

I am making the "non favor" favors for DH cousins weeding! She is making a donation instead of giving a formal favor & I am going to make a little thing for her. I am taking hershey kisses & hershey hugs... putting them in some tulle with a little tag that says... " Hugs & kisses from the new Mr. & Mrs.".

But I do not know what the saying for the donation should be. Like at a funeral you say "In lieu of flowers the family of Jane Doe would appreciate donations in her memory to ......"

What would be the right way to word it!!!

For our wedding favors, we gave a box of candy with a bow tied around it, with a scroll attached. This is what the scrolls said:

Dear Family and Friends,

In honor of our guests,
we have made a charitable donation to
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Thank you for being a part of our lives
and joining us on our wedding day.

Love,
Julie & Ray

In loving memory of my Mom, Suzanne Wescott
And in honor of my Grandma, Mary Ann Schecher
And for all of our friend and family who have ever had heart trouble
We made a donation to the American Heart Association
To show our love and support

Thank you for sharing in our special day!

This is mine. I did it on little cards that match my stationary with really tiny candles.
