I'm just sitting here reading some of the threads on this board. I'm in tears. I don't have a clue what you have all gone through or how it feels to be in your shoes - but I am hurting for you. You all deserve a ton of these....

I need tons of hugs

Never thought both of my parents would be gone so fast.....I wanted my mom and my dad to be grandparents to our children.

Thanks for the hugs - Last night when I walked into shiva - I was thinking that it would be really nice to see my dad standing at the counter with a glass of scotch in his hand - Hard to believe I will never see that again.

My family and I are going to have a scotch party one night. My parents had their drink every night when we lived in Lynbrook, and Scotch was their drink. So my sister came up with the idea of having, the cousins and the rest of the family come over and we will all drink some scotch in the honor of our parents.

I'm not a scotch drinker, but I will drink it for my parents
