I would just want her to meet my son if only for a minute- just to see the love in her eyes that I know she would of had for him. She always talked of being a grandma but never got too Posted 8/21/06 9:08 PM |

So many things, I agree, every moment.... but for me I want to hear her voice for the first time. I want to meet her. I have no memory of her to go on to help me heal. Posted 8/22/06 10:08 PM |

I agree there are so many things. I have to agree with someone else on here. My mom had such an infectious laugh. I would give anything to hear it again. Posted 8/23/06 11:20 PM |

That is exactly what I thought of the other day!!! Just a hug from her would be so amazing. I have had at least one dream where I hugged her, and I woke up feeling so warm and comforted! I wish all the time, that I could have more of those type of dreams. Posted 8/24/06 8:54 AM |

I was dreaming this last night and i woke up in hysterics. just whenyou think you're ok, reality bites you in the a$$!!!!! I WISH i could feel comforted by it but everytime i think or dream about it i just have breakdowns. but u give me hope that maybe one day i will feel her hug me and i will be able to smile. My mom had such a contagious laugh too. I miss many things, but probably most of all her support and friendship. My DH is such a wonderful source for this but there is nothing like "motherly advice." I ofen feel lost without her advice and opinions on things. Posted 8/24/06 5:11 PM |

There are sooo many things I'd love to have with my Mom, but all in all....I'd just love to be held by her again. Posted 8/25/06 9:48 AM |

It is so hard to pick just one but i would love one more hug or one of his phone calls where he would tell me how proud he was of me and how much he loved me. I would give the world for either one. Posted 8/25/06 10:01 PM |

WOW....I've been reading this thread over and over for 3 days now....there is so many things I could think of that I would want to hear for either of my parents. They died within less than a year of each other. Posted 9/2/06 8:43 PM |

I would love to hear her tell me about how my sisters and I were as babies and any advice she could give me. I have felt so lost this past year taking care of my daughter and I constantly think about what she may have done in similar situations. (My Dad is in his own little world and remembers nothing of our childhood) Posted 9/2/06 11:28 PM |
