leighla	Posted by colesmom I don't usually share too much, but I wanted to offer some support. We were TTC for 6 months before I went on Clomid 50mg last June. My OB had me start on CD3. I also charted on fertility friend and used OPK's. Also used over the counter Tussin cough medicine (NOT DM) to increase CM. I had no side effects and one cycle did the trick. I got a BFP on 6/28/04 and our son was born on 2/11/05. Hang in there everyone, and I hope you all have as much success as we did. Thank you for your insight!! Posted 8/1/05 4:22 PM

DebG	I didnt feel any effects the first month. Now the second month, that's a different story! I think I started with the hot flashes the night of my first pill. I think. the cycles are all starting to mesh. Posted 8/3/05 3:51 PM

DebG	I htink I need to ask to take a break from Clomid. I think the side effects might be cumulative each month and since I just finished month four...I think I want to take a break from it for a month or two. Hope my doc lets me! Posted 8/15/05 7:31 AM
leighla	My doc said he would only do 3 consecutive months and then take a month off and up the dose (I'm only on 50 mg now). I'm hoping it won't come to that!! If the side effects get worst every month I will not be a pleasant person next cycle!!! Posted 8/15/05 2:25 PM
Gertyrae	It's not just that the side effects get worse, supposedly if you take it for longer than six months straight you can develop cysts in or on your ovaries. Posted 8/15/05 5:36 PM

Diane	Have you girls discussing Femara (Letrizole) It is the "new" Clomid. It leaves your system quicker and less side effects. Message edited 8/24/2005 2:36:17 PM. Posted 8/17/05 3:10 PM

leighla	Anyone have post-ovulation symptoms when on Clomid? I was just reading on another website that sometimes Clomid makes you have the same symptoms as pregnancy (sore boobs, cramps, nausea, etc) Which stinks because those are all the signs I have and now I'm wondering if they are PMS, BFP or Clomid signs!!
