well i've only been there once (last week) and we stayed at excalibur. i think its the cheapest on the strip. it wasn't bad. it wasn't the greatest hotel - but it was only like 65-120 a night.

DH loves the Venetian - he's stayed there a bunch.

(we had a group of about 13 so we just wanted something cheaper.. Venetian woulda been too pricey for everyone)

I've stayed at the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Both are nice. I love the pool area at Mandalay Bay, but it can get very crowded.

I've been to Monte Carlo and loved it! It's on a good part of the strip, IMO

We stayed at the Mirage and really enjoyed it. It's related to Treasure Island so I wouldn't hesitate to stay there either.

Of course my favorite is the Bellagio suite. I've also stayed at the Luxor and Monte Carlo. I hated navigating through the Luxor to get to the parking lot (not a problem if you're not getting a car of course). The Monte Carlo has some really cheap rates at times but IMO fortunately doesn't have the "feel" of the cheaper hotels, so I really like everything about it.

i've stayed at the monte carlo and liked it also. of course it's not as fancy as say bellagio or venetian, but it's a nice hotel for a decent price and centrally located.

we also stayed at the tropicana and i won't make that mistake again. there's a reason that one's cheap. the rooms are very dirty and dingy. yuck!

I stayed at Ceaser's, but that was about 10 years ago. We're going in July and staying at the Aladdin.

we just got back too and Stayed at the Exacalibur because FH had free hotel rooms from his points card...I think as long as you are on the strip. all of the hotels are nice... whatever works into your budget!! I would love to stay at Paris...or maybe the new Wynn...

The Wynn is VERY expensive. I was working on a quote for it and the cheapest I saw was $600 a night Chat Icon

We stayed at the Excalibur and LOVED it. I thought the room was great, we had a nice view and everyone was super nice. We even had a problem with our flight after we had checked out and had to stay an additional night. I called up the hotel and it wasnt a problem at all. They even tried to get us the same room but it was already taken. I thought it was great.

When we go back later in the year we're going to stay at the Aladdin.

I stayed at the Veneitan and hated it. But any of the named hotels are nice on the strip. We also stayed at the Rio and it was our favorite we have been to vegas A LOT.. The only bad thing with the Rio is that its not on the strip but its owned by Harrahs and they have a free shuttle that takes you to and from each place. The rio is also right across from The palms.

We just got back Saturday night from Vegas. We stayed at the Monte Carlo and really liked it. One of the benefits of this hotel is that it does not have an "attraction" so you don't get crowds of tourists walking through it at all hours.

I went last month and stayed at the MGM Grand. It was nice, nothing insanely nice, but nice and clean and reasonably priced (like $150 during the week, $190 weekends).

LOL for my bachelorette we stayed at the Tropicana -- my friends are kinda cheap -- It is so hookey it's funny!!! They have crappy rooms or you can updrage to the tower, which is actually very nice and not too $$.

Good location, GREAT pool...but I'd like to stay at some of the nicer hotels I think, next time I have a bachelorette!! Chat Icon
