I think at some point, DD realized that he would be more powerful in the fight if he were dead than alive.
Harry now has more determination and no "fall-back" and Dumbledore can still advise him (through the picture in the headmaster's office).
I think, while they won't be at Hogwarts, there will be scenes there, as the Sword and Ring are still in the office. That will still work in all the other Characters. Plus there is still another Horcrux we don't know about that could still be there too.
And I agree that Snape HAD to kill DD.
Any theories about RAB? I think it was Sirius' brother that died a while ago.

Yes I think he can. Remember how each time they were about to go see a new horcrux and harry would get inquisitive one of the old headmasters portraits would talk to them.

I know they would sigh and make noise and stuff, but I think they are just pictures.
Like when he saw pics of his parents waving, but he didn't talk to them.
Also, at the end when he went up to DD's office Harry saw the protrait of him, wouldn't he have talked to him then?

The old headmaster talked to DD adn harry with the horcrux...called harry insolent and said how that wouldn't happen in his day. These are portraits...just liike the fatlady who talks to them when the enter their dormatory.
I think the DD portrait will talk to harry when he some how ends up alone in that room.

I think portraits can speak, but pictures (photographs) cannot.
Some where in one of the books it said that the more important the person was, the more freedom they had within the portraits. The one guy could move between his portraits from Grummald Place to Hogwarts and the Ministry as well - it happened in Book 5 when Mr Weasley was attacked and one of them went to check on him.

I know!! And it's going to be soooo long until the next one and then it's the LAST ONE!! 
I'll have to look forward to the movie in November to hold me over!!

yeah i think that would mean harry has to die. i just don't see rowling doing that. you can't kill the hero. it would be too tragic. and it is afterall a children's book. i'm refusing to believe that theory. i also refuse to believe snape is evil...

I agree, she wouldn't kill Harry. Harry being the horcrux is an interesting theory, though. Maybe he is and they will work it out so he lives with it.
I still don't think Snape is evil, either.

JK Rowling has always said that Harry dying is a possibility.
With all the rest of the death in these books I wouldn't be surprised if she did it.
There have been a lot of allusions to is as well, that neither one can exist without the other.

I don't thikn it would be completely out of the question. When my friend suggested it I was just like "woah" because I can see it being entirely possible. There could also be some weird magic that could like reverse the horocrux onto voldemort himself, killing out the last two horocruxes at once, something like that.
I also feel that harry dying isn't out of the quesiton, because I feel the books are growing in thier age-appropriateness with the readers. If you started reading them in 4th grade, how many years ago would that have been. You could very well be high-school aged by the time the final books are printed and released.

I think that the Horcrux from book #6 (the one that Harry and DD took from that basin thing) is behind the portrait of the screaming lady that no one can take down in Sirius Black's house....and I think RAB is Sirius' brother and THATS where he hid the REAL Horcrux from book #6...remember when Harry looked in Dumbledore's hands and the horcrux was DIFFERENT and then that note????
I also think that DD knew that Snape and Draco had a blood oath....DD knew that Draco wasn't going to kill him and also knew that if Snape DIDN'T kill him, Snape would die. So when DD said "Please, Snape..." he wasn't asking him to spare his life, but to go through with it and kill him...or else Draco or Snape would die.....
And my final thoughts.....I think Harry Potter is going to end up being the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.....

I could see that only if they go past book 7. He's already teaching anyway...just not officially.
