My Dad Passed away

Thanks - He is on morphine now - and sleeps mostly all of the time

Scott...I'm so very sorry. I hope and pray God will give you and your family the strength to make it through this again so soon.

Early this morning, My Dad Passed away. My sister, brother, My wife and I were by his side....and he died at 12:45 Sunday morning.

His kidneys failed and his heart was very weak.

He was such a great father and we are all going to miss him so much.

Now my Dad is not suffering or in pain anymore. That makes me feel good. He didnt deserve to go through what he had to go through.

Thankgod for Hospice care, and all of our private nurses. They were amazing.

Words cannot express how sorry I am. Please know my heart goes out to you and your family. I hope that knowing your dad is no longer in pain and is with your mom again is able to bring you at least some small sense of peace.

Scott, I am so sorry. I was just checking for an update and saw this.

I know what a hard battle this has been for your dad a whole family.

You are all in my prayers. I hope knowing he is together with your mom again brings you some comfort during this difficult time.

Thanks - I am trying to write the Eulogy right now - and I have no idea what to write.

My dad was a great person - Great personality - The biggest heart a man could have -and he Loved to tell jokes.

After that I am blank - I think with everything that we have been through this past month - my mind is fried...

Went to the funeral home today - they did an amazing job on my father - you would never of known that he was so sick just a few days ago. He looks 20 years younger.

It is crazy - we are still in a state of shock. I havent had any time to mourn yet. I am still just shocked that he is gone. I am not going to hear his voice again, or get to hear any of his jokes that he loved to tell over and over again, or get to ride in the car with him......I will get to drive his car though, and that feels good to me knowing that I will still have a piece of him that he loved in my life.

Tomorrow is the funeral. I am not ready for this. I just feel sick.

Thanks - The funeral was today - It was very hard. There had to be about 300 people at the chapel and 200 plus at my sisters for shiva after the cemetary.

My father was a great man - everyone that knew him loved him. We were very lucky to have such a wonderful father.
