So I went to the RE this morning for an ultrasound (day 12). The Doctor said he could not see anything....then he says to me "why do we always have trouble seeing things on you?". I was like....I don't know...that's your job. He said he would take blood and let me know the results from that...but he couldn't see any follie's.

I don't know why...but this made me so upset...like it's my fault he can't see anything? Makes me think that this will just be another failed IUI. I called DH and told him if this doesn't work this month...I think we might have to find another RE...this just mad me so mad.

Comments like that are uncalled for. I don't blame you for wanting to switch to another RE. This is an emotional enough time for you as it is; you don't need some dipwad making you feel like any of this is your fault (which it is NOT!) Chat Icon

Ugh I'm sorry he said that - he must not know how hard it is to hear stuff like that.

Is this a medicated cycle for you or natural?

I'm so sorry!

This is my 3rd chlomid cycle...and I am also taking estrogen this cycle because my endo lining was not think enough last time.

He also made a comment about my right ovary also...it's never been visable in any of the tests I've done or for the amount of times I've been there...usually, they find the left one no problem. I do know that there is no tube and no kidney on the right side (from all the tests), so the other doctor said it might be among the missing as well. And I have seen this guy before...usually he is very nice...today he just made me mad.

Maybe you will just O later this cycle? When I went for cd12 sono my follies were small...my RE said that I wouldnt O til later...and I didnt.

But if you dont like this guy then you should switch to someone you do like, it makes a big difference! Good luck with your blood work :)

What a jerk! I usually have no follies by CD12 either. By day 14 they are there...He obviously has no bedside manner.

Oh my goodness Kim, I would have been SO LIVID at this doctor's 'bedside manner' (or lack thereof Chat Icon)

I HATE when some of these doctors make you feel as though its YOUR FAULT about things of this nature Chat Icon
