Good vacation spots (Anywhere in the US) for July/August???

Places that aren't too hot (NO Florida). We have no idea where to go.

I have been to Puerto Rico in August and it was NICE! Better than here, really! The trade winds kept it nice and not humid..We stayed at the Cerromar, about 1 hour out of San Juan. Very nice place.

It depends on what type of vacay you guys are looking for.... (relaxing? adventure?)
Maybe do a San Fransico/ Napa Valley trip? My parents went last summer and said it was incredible.

Or- Maine is GORGEOUS. Lots of outdoors things to do. Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park is amazing.

Or I know it's not the US, but Montreal is terrific as well. We had a blast going there.

I like going to Cove Haven in the summer.

we are going to check out Colorado. I love going rafting, and we enjoying biking. Wanted to check out Telluride, but prices are outrageous. So maybe we will just rent a car and go to different hotels while we do different activities.

we went to steamboat springs one memorial day and it was just great!!! you can get super nice ski resorts at such discounts!!!


southern california has great weather in the summer...not too hot...


new england? canada? national parks?


the drive to the carolinas is nice too (if you take the coast...not I-95)...but it can get humid...
