Possible book swap?

I know I have a ton of books that I have read as well as some of my family and friends... Instead of donating them to the library, I thought it might be a fun idea to organize a book swap! We could all bring books we don't want anymore and trade with each other for some new ones... We could even discuss it online and do it though the mail if needed...

Anyone interested?

i'm up for it, at least while i'm off over the summer. I buy so many books and then they sit on my shelf.

LOL I didn't mean discuss the book, I meant if we can't get together to swap them we could discuss how to swap them online and then mail them to each other Chat Icon

Yes- please count me in! I have so many books that I finished reading and I spend way too much on new books for my long commute- this would be great! Chat Icon

Maybe we could post books we have and would be willing to swap, and people could "sign up"... then they can either meet to exchange them or send them through the mail? Just an idea!

I think that's a good idea- list your books, then FM the person ifyou want to switch.

I have Judy Blume's Summer Sisters

FROM THE PUBLISHER
Summer Sisters chronicles the lifelong friendship between two women, from their girlhood summers together on Martha's Vineyard to their more complicated adult relationship. Caitlin dazzled Vix from the start, sweeping her into the world of the Somers family, a world of privilege, adventure and sexual daring. Vix's bond with her 'summer' family had forever reshaped her relatioship to her own, opening doors to opportunities she had never imagined. Then, the summer she falls passionately in love, in one shattering moment on a moonswept beach, everything changes, exposing a dark undercurrent in her extraordinary friendship with Caitlin that will haunt them through the years. A riveting exploration of the choices that define our lives, of friendship and love, of the families we are born into and those we struggle to create, and a story for every woman who has ever had a friend too dangerous to forgive and too essential to forget.

and When Harry Hit the Hamptons by Mara Goodman-davies.
FROM THE PUBLISHER
Harry, toast of the L.A. party scene, has just landed in the Hamptons facing an ultimatum: clean up his act or be cut off from the family fortune. But the "sleepy resort" that his father remembers is now the hottest party scene on the East Coast. And everyone has plans for Harry...Soon, millions are riding on who can win his heart and his hand-in marriage, that is. Two women-an overweight heiress and a self-made, but heartbroken, businesswoman-vie for the prize. But can anyone really tame Harry?
Almost done with Can you Keep a secret if anyone wants to switch.

I'm looking for:
Shop. and Sister - Sophie Kinsella
Devil Wears Prada
Jane Green Books
The Nanny Diaries
Jodi Picoult books
