charting...

Do you think my RE will tell me to start charting before he does any tests????

I do not want to waste a few months charting...I know I have scarring on a tube..I just don't want them to make me chart before doing anything aggressive...

I dont think so. In fact they didnt even ask me (but I offered the info that I was charting when I spoke with her). A lot of people dont chart and I really dont think it will make a difference if you dont. Good luck with the RE!! When are you going (did you post it already and I forgot?) YOu are seeing Dr. S right (I have NO clue how to spell her last name)! She is the one who did my IUI yesterday! She was very nice, a little rushed and not much time to talk with me because she was so late getting in to the office, but nice nonetheless.

I am going next week to Dr. Brenner...My friend really likes him..he is with Long Island IVF...I was going to go to yours, but this doctor is in Melville...more convienent

I tried charting, but because I always have to pee in the middle of the night, then would forget in the morning cuz I am always running late, it didn't work for me.

I went to Egypt on business and my olive supplier, who also happens to be an endocrinologist specializing in fertility issues, suggested I just BD on days 9, 11 and 13. So that's what I did when I got home and I got a BFP immediately!!

Unfortunately I missed, but I am now trying that method again this month and hoping it works -- and sticks!!

So....not everyone thinks charting is helpful in the ttc process, although it seems to be a good way to keep track of what's going on in your body. My old GYN wanted me to chart but I dumped her.
