Actually no because we called a truce. My brother did apologize to DH for getting in his face the way he did. He said he was having a bad day that day and took it out on the wrong person. DH explained that whatever he says to him about the yankees is never meant in a taunting way. So no I didn't give him hell...

but philly is a great team, so i don't think crushing is applicable

a loss to the milwaukee brewers or the mariners is a crushing defeat

but you're right a defeat is a defeat

just challenging your use of adjective
