Well, after being utterly, completely disgusted with myself, I joined WW online today. I love Body for Life but it's a bit of a PITA to plan six meals a day when we are in the middle of packing up our apartment and fixing up the house. WW online worked well for me over the summer, as long as I stuck to it. Which was always my biggest challenge.

Today after work I am driving up to the house to do some unpacking and sanding and priming. Not exactly exercise but not sedate either. As soon as we are really in the house I am going back to the gym.

Body for life was so hard, it made me quit.

My friend who is also TTC lost 30 lbs in 12 weeks at WW, I always fail at it, but Im gonna drag my mom and just DO IT...( next week of course, my B-day is Tuesday and If I have to turn 30, I GET TO EAT CAKE!)

I've been on BFL for about 5 weeks so far. So far I've lost 12 pounds.
Yes, it's hard planning out 6 meals. ... Basically I go through eDiets and they plan the meals out for you and generate a shopping list. They have MANY diets, not just BFL and it's pretty affordable. They have chat groups, online nutritionists, etc.

I eat a BFL shake and a BFL bar each day- that takes care of 2 meals.

I eat a soy yogurt with flax granola for another meal and then a string cheese/fruit combo for the other "meal"... once you realize a meal is only 200 or 300 calories- it's not that hard to do!!!

WW now has a core program too...you can eat as much as you want of some stuff and limited amounts of others.

Hey ladies- how are we doing?

How was the weekend???

At least today is Monday- time to be good again!

I worked out this morning- wanted to start the week off right!!!!

Last week went well. I'm down 3.5 pounds. (16.5 to go!!)

I stuck to WW (with flex points) and I did something active for at least 20 minutes each day. Walked the dog, did the elliptical, yesterday I cleaned like a crazy person.

My question for the TTC girls, though. Usually when I'm trying to lose weight I significantly increase my water intake. However, with OPKs you need to "hold it" for at least 4 hours and NOT intake too much H20.

How are you handling that? TIA.

Count me in too. I have been on WW since february and have lost 29 pounds so far... it is so hard to do, I want to lose a total of 50 pounds, but I need the support of all of you.
My goal this week is not to snack too much and to start walking daily.Chat Icon

Can I join too? I have gained 30-40 pounds since my wedding last May. Some of it is from taking fertility drugs, and the rest is from shoving food in my mouth to ease my frustration each month I'm not pregnant! Need to do something quick before I bust!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

So.....it's been a while since we all checked in.

How's it going?

I fell off the wagon this past weekend (major TTC blues made me eat many brownies)!

But so far this week I'm doing good. Went hiking on Monday, walked the dog Tuesday, going to do the elliptical tonight.

Everyone else doing okay?

Lauren, Christine and Deb - CONGRATS!! Chat Icon you are all doing so well!

Me, on the other hand.. well I am good during the week but the weekends have killed me. AND I fully admit that I haven't been dedicated to this at ALL so I only have my laziness to blame

But since Monday I have really been good and am feeling very confident about sticking to my diet.. I even went to a BBQ on Monday and didn't pig out (no small feat for me!)

DH and I have been pretty good about going to the gym so that isn't my problem, my problem is EATING

my goal is to try to lose at least 10-15 pounds by my anniversary on July 25 (which would only be half of what I gained, but hey its a start)

I hope I can do it Chat Icon

COUNT ME IN!!!

OK I lost 12 lbs., then got pregnant so I went off WW...gained about 2 lbs. This past week I expected a HUGE gain after N'awlins (oh those hurricanes and pecan pie!!) but I guess between the walking, dancing and bding I didn't do any damage.

I have about ...oh 80 lbs to go to be at an ideal weight!! But I have to just keep on working on the small goals.

Congrats to all who have lost!! I promise to stay on program this week!!
