Not once have DH and I rubbed it in his face when the yankees lost a game. Didn't even say boo when they got humiliated in the worse way ever in sports history last year. Now yesterday all of a sudden he got in our face in the most annoying way acting like an immature 2 year old going "What do you think of your mets now huh, ha ha" cuz they lost to seattle. So he starts taunting DH for no reason and DH really got ****** at him and told him that he never taunts him when the yankees loose. DH was more upset about that than he was about him taunting him about the mets loosing....
Now it's no more mercy on him. I told my brother you better pray to god that the yankees win every single game for the remainder of the season because in addition to us, I am going to recruit every met fan that he knows to bust his chops! Doesn't matter if the mets win or loose. what matters is that the Yankees go on a winning streak for the rest of the season. We've been out of our way nice to him, we got him an authentic reggie jackson jersey and this is how he acts in the end, like a childish 2 year old???

seriously though, i have family like that. They haven't gotten on my case yet today, but they do when we get together. I don't let it bother me because it's all in good fun. The razz me when the Mets are doing lousy and I razz them when the Yankees are doing lousy.
Like I said, these are our Mets. I told you, enjoy the good moments because they ebb and flow like the tide. Yes, they're down now, but they will come up again to 500, then they'll drop again, and then they'll rise again, and so on and so forth.
But yeah, you need to give him hell, there's no call for that if you never harass him. I have some good tactics that I'll be happy to impart

on holidays, put a met ball on his tree and see if he notices. if he doesn't just leave it there.

He doesn't have email but I will find other ways to torture him. I'll stop only if the yankees win the world series this year. If they don't then the taunting continues next season and the season after that and the season after that..until they win another world series...

Oh but I told him already...Since the Yankees are so much better than they should be winning all the time. You say the Mets ****...that's true...So Now I want to see the "best" team in baseball win every single game this season plus the world series...

awww....in my family you have to fend for yourself. BUT we are majority Yankee fans...My poor grandma is the only TRUE Met fan. And she did get heckled yesterday

that's why we have never said anything to my brother cuz he is the only one in the family that's a yankee fan...Unbelievable....
I did send his wife an email explaining that he acted like an a$$...He said that DH always teases him about the Yankees...since when??? is he on drugs??? DH was so ****** last night...he didn't eat and he had a headache...I was like "don't let that immature idiot get to you, he is so not worth it" "taunting met fans is therapeutic to him because he thinks it will help him forget what happened last year with boston and the yankees"...my brother is so pathetic...

I know he shouldn't but he suffers from anxiety so he gets like that when something upsets him.

My husband's health concerns me more than the yankees or mets.
I told him it was soooooo not worth him getting anxiety over it...

and the best is that DH is still going about how my brother upset him. I told him that the more he talks about it the more his anxiety will kick in. I told him to just let it go and if my brother says anything at again...ignore and walk away...always the best thing to do...
