I need an ElEd position too... or even something education related!

Found out today I'll be unemployed as of June... I need a new job!!

Teaching would be great but if there's something else in the education field you see or hear of that would work too... I am even open to getting out of teaching all together.

I'm sorry to here this. Teaching on Long Island is so stressful. You have a job one day, and are looking for another the next. It's so scary.

What Happened? I'm so sorry. Most jobs that I know of in the teaching field that are open right now pay like $9/hr which is why I returned to my old field. Would you consider subbing? I did that in my district and got called almost every day. Good Luck!

I work in a Catholic School and the enrollment is down (again) so we are letting unneeded people go. We've had so many layoffs in the last five years that I was back at the bottom of the totem pole.

The same thing happened to me. Now I work in the NYC public school system which I thought I would never want to do and I have to admit that I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
