question

Just got back from the doctor, everything is normal, looks great with both babies. I am 14 weeks. The sono tech said I shouldnt need to come back for another sono until my level 2 (which is in a month), since they both look great and have been the same size for a month now.

Saw the dr. for literally 30 seconds after that, he asked if i had any questions, I said no. He said ok, see you in 2 weeks for another quick sono & visit.

The way I see it, there is no reason for another visit. Do you think they are just trying to milk us for the $? The past 2 times my dr. visits were about 2 seconds long and i've been going every 2 weeks. its also very difficult for me to go there, i always have to take off work bc the dr. office is about 40 mins from work and i am there for 2 hours min.
My husband says our insurance only covers 14 sonograms and I've already had 6 at 14 weeks.

do you think I should cancel the appt in 2 weeks and just go for the level 2 in a month?

Let me see, in the beginning (my first trimester) I had 3 sonograms, after that not until I had the 20 week one. I only went to the doctor once a month. Then at around 32 weeks I had a sonogram every 2 weeks and saw the doctor every 2 weeks as well. (I had to go to the hospital for my sono's) I also had to go for a non stress test after every sono.
