You want to ask things like, what is the adult to child ratio, what the daily schedule is like for the kids (nap time, snacks, learning, etc.), what are their credentials, licenses etc., what their policies are on discipline, crying children, what is their record (health, safety, injuries, etc.) Posted 5/12/05 9:33 AM |

When I was looking at day cares I kinda knew when I walked in if I felt comfortable with the place - just watch the kids too and see if they are happy and having fun Posted 5/12/05 9:53 AM |

do you send your own lunch (for older kids) and what is the menu like? Posted 5/12/05 4:03 PM |

I currently work in a pre-k/daycare and my uncle works for licensing...so I could give you a LONG list of things that should be done in any day care.. things you could easily look for on a tour... Posted 5/15/05 11:04 AM |
