Almost 1 year later and I still havent changed my name

DH said something about it the other day so we will (hopefully) go next week.

Geez, I have his last name on my facebook, isnt that enough??

Yeah I JUST did it. I didn't really want to.

4 years on june 11th and I didnt either.. I also hve my old address on my license as well..

I changed mine right when we got back from our honeymoon because i knew if i didn't do it then I would never do it. Trust me i know how you feel. I have come to accept it now and i don't mind it so much anymore.

It took me 14 months to go to Social Security and change my name. I only changed my name at work when I was due to have my baby...19 months after our wedding.
I dont dislike his name at all, I just really liked my maiden name.

Jump to it christine!! I am fully changed over now.. I am so glad that the process is done! It is a pain in the booooty.

I changed mine and wish I hadnt- professionally I had used my maiden name for almost 7 years and its caused a lot of confusion with my clients- i probably should have kept my name at least at work

I still have to change my name on my passport, my mortgage, and my AA frequent flyer miles. What a PITA.

I still haven't changed my passport, it's such a PITA!

Nothing stopping DH from changing his name to yours.
It's not a rule that a man can't take his wife's name.

Well I sat in the wrong SS office for 2.5 hrs on a day off. Im waiting for another day off to change SS card and liscense.

My credit card, professional liscense and cple other things are changed...so Im 1/2 maiden , 1/2 married name


DH was so excited bc in my friendswedding program it said Elizabeth Marriedname...he went on and on about how cool it was and saved it lol

I changed my name at SS and DMV and the bank, but that is about it. I still have credit cards and my passport and others in my maiden name. Although I just added his last name, I didn't drop mine, and professionally I didn't change it at all.

My office was closed the day after Thanksgiving so I did it then. The only thing I haven't changed is my passport and I won't until it expires.

i still haven't - twice i tried to go to SS just never made it....im gonna try next tues to do it.....i know DH wants it done already
