MTA fare hike

Did you commuters hear? They passed the Doomsday budget 12-1...insane!! My monthly ticket and subway total will be over $300...just to get to work!

ludicrous! it's a huge blow to our budget :(

Mine will be about $410.

Dh and I r going to visit his family in North Carolina in a few weeks. We may start looking at houses there. This is ridiculous!

I know, it starts June 1st too. My monthly LIRR went up $45, not as bad as some of you, but still it's $45 extra a month I have to shell out. Not to mention the times I have to take the subway
