Since the wedding, what has the next step been for you and DH?

DH owns his own business and it has been stressful trying to balance work and married life for him. Also, with the economy now we have the added stress of wondering if people are going to spend their money on fishing this year!

The next step for us is buying a house. We started looking but put it on hold b/c of what I posted above

LOL,, my bad., I changed the question as Tilde was posting and put it on LIW and made new quesion for her.

For us, we are trying to pay off some non-wedding related bills. Luckily we worked hard and paid the wedding off before the wedding

But we want to get some other credit and car payments paid off.

-Immediately after the wedding we started with fertility treatments because we knew it was going to be hard to conceive. It took until the end of December to get pregnant, so now we are expecting our first baby in September.

Other than that we have been trying to pay down credit cards and have just been working. Nothing too crazy.

next step for us is traveling! we bought our coop two days after the wedding- so we are also working on decorating that

selling our co-op and buying a house. It's taking a lot longer than we thought and if i have to go through one more open house I might have to hurt someone.

Well we bought a place before the wedding but moved in after...so that was new.

The next step has been enjoying being married, living together.

We are inching closer to babies but neither of us are quite there yet.

Although I am lurking on the Preganancy board and DH is looking along with me asking questions which is making me thing were getting closer and it may be sooner than we thought

We closed on our house a week after getting back from the honeymoon. So it has been ALL about the house, house HOUSE. Hopefully we will be able to take a mini vacation this summer, we've been all sorts of stressed!!

We bought a house! That process (and now working on fixing it up) was way more stressful than wedding planning, but definitely rewarding.

Right after the wedding we got down to baby making and are now pregnant and due early September. We are also in contract with a house in Long Island. No more Manhattan for me, I need a yard for my baby

TTC immediately, now dealing w/ IF.

Also, working on buying a house.


Both = super freaking stressful and time consuming!

Our next step is to buy a house. Don't see that coming anytime soon though.

Paying down my debt, finishing college. Now we're looking into buying a house.

Wow i'm completely jealous of all of you being able to buy a house already

I think we still have at least another 3-4yrs before that happens for us.

So for now we're just working on saving and making babies . We have a big 2 bdrm apt so at least my child will have enough room to grow until we get a house lol
