1 year Anniversary

What did you/ are you planning on doing?

I'm torn between going away for a weekend or just kinda staying in and hanging.

I was thinking of getting a DH a watch for the "clocks" anniversary, but i don't think we can swing that plus a vacation.

We JUST came back from Grand Cayman too so it just adds to me not wanting to travel.

I was kinda thinking maybe seeing Kooza and spending a day and night in NYC going out to dinner, eating our old a$$ cake and yada yada yada.

Just looking to get an idea of what's the normChat Icon

I was talking to DH about this last night and said about traveling for the weekend. I told him I'd want a pet friendly hotel so we can bring our pup. I don't want to have to look for someone to watch him.

I kinda wanted to do a weekend away, but I will be 8 months pregnant, and we are going to Fire Island for 3 days in June to stay at the house my MIL and her sister are renting. We are really trying to save our days for when the baby is born...I might try to get him tickets to something...

Who knows...

We are planning a trip for our one year. Not exactly sure where yet but we would like to go somewhere we both have not been to.

I think we might do a weekend thing (maybe AC/Foxwoods).

Depending on if we are moving or not, we might go away longer in August, if not then def. in Feb.

We are staying in the Champagne Tower Suite at the Poconos and we can't wait. We haven't been away since our honeymoon and we are looking forward to it. We hate to leave Rocky though our little puppy.

We aren't doing anything super special - will probably just go out to dinner. We just bought a house and are going to San Fran less than a month later, so that is our anniversary gift(s) to each other!

We just went to a bed and breakfast in CT for a few days. Went to Mystic, did a few other low key things. It was nice.

we're coming up on 6 months this week... Maybe we'll go away for the weekend for our first ann?

I'm also going to have the bakery recreate our top tier because the cake was actually lost after the wedding

We will probably go to dinner and get a cake to eat w/ our families b/c we arent into the old narsty cake thang.

We are going away in June/July for his 30th b-day so we will just say that is for our Anniv. too.

i ended up buying Kooza tickets for May ( a month after our anniversary) I love crque du soleil

as far as our 1yr anniversary i wanted to combine that with a babymoon so maybe if we find a good last minute deal to puerto rico we''ll go, but besides that I have no clue

If I were you...I'd go for a long weekend! However 2 vacas in one year could be fun!

We are going to Antigua for a week. I am excited!

Also - I am dying to see KOOZA! It looks great!

I'd love to go away for the weekend. I'll be doing a day trip to the vineyards this summer with my bro and his GF when they visit. But I'd love to go out east for a weekend for the spas, vineyards and farmstands. That sounds like our plan.
