Hi All,
Just got information on this club from momoftwins. It holds meetings the third Thursday of every month at the Parkway Community Church located at 95 Stewart Avenue in Hicksville. I think i am going to wait to join till after my twins are here, but for the others their website is http://www.ncmotc.org.
Here is a poem they included...
There are two to wash, two to dry. Two who argue and two who cry. One's in the mud having a ball, the others holding a crayon marking the wall. Some days seem endless, my patience grows thin. Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins? The answer comes clear at the end of the day, as i tuck them in bed and to myself say, "there's two to kiss and two to hug and best of all there's two to love."

For those pregnant moms who think they might like to join now... They have a great support network. You can choose to be partnered with a BTDT mom of twins, and they have a home cooked meals program for new healing moms. (This could be great especially for those with other children!!) I have only been to 1 meeting, but it was great!! This months workshop is Yoga!

There is a suffolk chapter, I had initially inquired about. It meets in Bohemia, and thats a lot further from me than Hicksville, even though technically I'm suffolk. The told me area code doesn't matter, it's really a matter of which is easier for you! I'll look and see if I can find the info, I had found it online.
