Hi, I'm Sissy and DH is Gary. We've been married since 2006. I'm currently unemployed and Gary is out on permanent disability.

As I mentioned in an earlier post I'm 41 and DH is 34 and due to an unfortunate event we will not be having children together. He still hasn't come to terms with it. That's whole other post!


I have a 25 yr old daughter who will be making me a grandma this year and making Gary the youngest Grandpa I've ever seen

Iam Jackie, been married to DH for over 2 years, though we've been together for over 9. I am 24, he is 27. I eventually want kids, but I like to have my ducks in a row as they say. Plus, I see how DH's nephews behave and it totally turns me off-(its great birth control!lol) We just bought a house, we will be moving in May. Dh owns his own business and I am an unemployed teacher ...I also like to travel, we went to Europe in November and would love to go back. We also love going to dinner and to the movies and just enjoying our quiet married life right now.

My name is Christina (27) and my DH is Dan (25). I am a teacher and my husband is an engineer. We have been married for almost 2 years and have been together since 2001.

Currently, we are childless by choice. One day we would like to have children, but we know that it will probably be difficult due to IF issues.

I'm Heather, FH is Tim and we are 25 and 28 respectively. We live in Suffolk, we have a kitty named Champ, a chocolate lab named Ellie and a German shorthaired pointer named Julie. We are childless by choice at this point, no TTC for a loooong time in our book. Sometimes I wonder if I ever even want kiids of my own....only time will tell

I work for a vitamin company in consumer affairs, FH works in propane and owns a small handyman business on the side.

We have a terrific life...lots of love and laughter, great friends and family...we don't plan on changing that to include a baby in the near future. There's still soooooo much we wanna do/see/expierence without having a child.

We have a niece and 2 nephews, one of whom is our godson, and we dote and adore those kids with all of our hearts...at this point in our lives, they are all we need to cure the wayward "baby itch" and all is good once we hand them back to the parents

I am very excited to see this board and hope to make some good friends!!!

Hi, I am Patty and my DH is Jon. We have been happily married since October 7, 2007.

We have been trying to conceive on & off since we got married (I am a lurker on the TTC board).

We currently live in Woodbury and we love entertaining our family & friends. I love trying out new recipes on DH & his dad when he is in town. We are huge NY METS Fans!!

I have recently discovered that I have a creative side and I am pretty good at. I like to crochet, paint and do other kinds of crafts. I am going to learn how to do cross stitching.

Hi, I'm Susi and my DH is Mike. We were married on 10/27/2007, been together since 2003. I was an avid poster on LIW (SusiBtoM).

We are not TTC because of our ages, I'm 42 and DH will be 47 in two months.
I've always wanted children, but Mike doesn't and I knew that going into our relationship. I believe that I've come to terms with my not having a child (my heart does feel heavy at times).
My baby was my beloved cat Munchkin, who passed away two years ago at the age of 13 after a short illness.

Mike is a bus operator for the MTA, and I am a sales & logistics coordinator for a Japanese trading conglomerate. We actually met on the bus - I was his passenger.

We like to travel, to go out with friends, just to hang out together.

We are newlyweds, however we do not plan on having children. We both have 2 younger sisters (ages 6,11, 18, 21). I have never been one to dream about being a mom. I think that there is always a possibility we could change our minds.. but for now... we are a Family on our own.

Hi I'm Michelle DH is Brenton. I have been lurking on this site for a while, just never posted. We just got married 7/31/08 in Hawaii, DH is Hawaiian and his family still lives there. We are currently living in Northern VA but hope to get back to NY in the next two years. Our only children right now are my 7 mo. old Springer Spaniel, Lani and my 5 year old fat cat, Sammy. Right now Lani and Sammy are about all we can handle/ afford. We hope to have children in the future. I am a teacher (3rd grade) and DH works for a gov't contractor as a Computer Engineer (IT stuff).

Hi, I'm Lori Beth, and my DH and I just got married on Oct. 26 We are both in our early 30s. We do want kids but have decided to wait a few years to have more us time and try to get our finances in order. I was laid off in Dec and just got a new job, DH is a teacher. We also bought a house in Dec! Bad timing LOL DH has 3 cats as well so our house is plenty full right now!
