Intro Thread...

many of us know each other from the boards, but I thought I'd intro myself..

Hi!! I am Patty, DH (Scott) and I were childless by choice for a long time and 2 years ago TTC, but have been unsuccessful. We have been together for 17 years, married for 7.5...We live in Suffolk. I work for an import company and DH is NYPD.

Love traveling - we are going to Disney next month - ca't wait!! Haven't been since college and DH hasn't been since he is 12!!!!

Love to cook - I would love to start a Cooking for 2 thread, but not sure if it would get bumped to Food ? I find myself making the same things over and over!

Love to do crafts - I scrapbook - with a couple of the ladies on this board sometimes too. Needlepoint and I would like to start quilting again...

got married in May 08... DH and i are NOT TTC any time soon so childless we are at the moment! im 26 and DH is 29

we just adopted a chocolate lab and we also have a tabby cat!

i love this site and was really happy when i saw this board created!!! cant wait to chat with fellow non-child couples!!!

Love traveling also, itching to plan a new trip. I'm a part time student, so I have to plan around semesters.

My name is Samantha. I've been married almost 2 years and am not sure if we will have kids or not. I'm 32 yrs old and don't have any baby itch whatsoever so who knows.

I love to travel, scrapbook & throw parties Our main focus is hanging-out with friends as much as possible and we've recently been exercising and eating better (i'm down 14lbs ) !!

I've always felt LIF favors people that have kids or want kids so I think this board is great ! Can't wait for the GTG !!

Hi, I am Lisa. i have been with Dh for 10 years and married for almost 5. We are childless by choice. We have 2 dogs. I love to travel, Dh not so much but when he gets there he is happy.

I'm Diane and DH is Roy.

We will be married two years in April!

No desire to have kids at the moment and not really sure if we will ever feel "ready".

We have a black cat named Edgar who we treat like our baby and a betta called Mr. Fish (how original )

We love to travel(Back to Asia in 30 days!!)and spend too much money on it. We love going to restaurants, theatre, wine bars, concerts and hanging out with our family and friends.

I'm an actor and DH works in software sales. We live in Manhattan

I'm Donna. DH and I will be married 4 years this July and have been together almost 7 years. We're Childless by Choice. In my free time, I love to spend time on LIF, Facebook, spend time with DH and our two dogs (both adopted!), go out to dinner, spend time with friends, wine tasting, traveling, etc. DH is currently in school pursuing his second masters degree-once he completes that, I may go back to school at night, but we'll see what happens when the time comes.

We got married 7.1.06 and we just started looking for our first house together

We don't have any children yet or pets. Waiting for a house to have both. I'm a dog person, DH is a cat person, so we have agreed to get one of each (at least) when we get a home they can play in.

I am Kirsten and my DH is Phil.

We were married on 9/19/08 and do not have any children but would like to try for one in a year or so.

We're a typical couple that do typical things - love to travel, enjoy a nice glass of wine, go to the movies, cook, etc.

Almost forgot...we do not have pets either.

Hi. I'm Shawnna. DH is Mitch. We are TTC but have infertility issues so...who knows! We have a kitty, Guinness.

We love to travel, eat out and be social. He likes the movies..I go now and then, but we love concerts and are HUGE Met's fans!!

I'm the cooker/shopper. He's the lawn guy and we do a pretty good job splitting the household chores...
We live in Shirley.

I work in human services and he does Quality Control/Auditing for Motorola. Mitch was formerly in Mortgages but got laid off from WaMu last year.

My name is Kathryn..usually go by Kath..DH is Blaine...we'll be married 2 years in June but have been together since June of 2001. We both are not very serious people & try and laugh alot.

We do not want kids..and knew this early on in our relationship. We have traveled alot and enjoy our freedom...our fun has been temporarily interrupted since Dh has been laid off but we know that we will make it thru...just taking life one day at a time. Dh is in International Marketing.

I am a Graphic Artist but am currently in the process of getting into a law enforcement position...will start this summer.

We have 2 dogs that keep us laughing & from killing each other at times.

I love photography, the outdoors, animals, and spend alot of my free time doing Tae Kwon Do (a Korean martial art)

I am Michelle and DH is Jeff. We are TTC, no luck yet. That's okay though because we are in transition to South Florida from NY. We are currently in Boca Raton, FL.

Right now, I am on disability from my job as an attorney for children due to some severe medical issues, but I plan on taking the Florida Bar in July and practicing down here. DH is currently interviewing for jobs in Information Technology/Project management. He also owns his own computer business in the Hamptons, but it hasn't been doing so well.

We have two "boys"-our cats Tigger and Skittles-I love my mushies to death and they are so funny!

We love to go out, sleep late, travel, and I love to shop. A lot.

We were married 3.16.08, we live in a two bedroom apt in Lindenhurst. He works for a telecommunications company and I work for a college as a graphic designer/photographer.

Not trying to have kids yet - probably will not for another year or two. No rush on our part because we like our independence.

My DH and I are both in our early 30s and childless by choice. We were married in October 2004, and we both work in IT.

We have a cat, and yes she is my baby. I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of her. (She's a black cat so there are lots of cute black cat cartoons I could go for.)

We spend a lot of time going to rock concerts, traveling, we have Islanders season tickets, crafts, martini drinking and weekend napping.

I'm looking to make some new friends with similar interests - most of my current friends are now with kids and spend all of their time talking about it and I can't relate.

Hello...I am Elizabeth (27) and my DH is Bobby (26). We were married on 11.8.08.

I am a guidance counselor which I love DH works in the business/finance field...and has not been effected *yet* by the market bc of the area he works in (praying this will remain the case ).

We own a 2 bedroom coop in Queens. We look forward TTC in a cple years (not sure exactly when) enjoying being us two for now since we never lived together....it is nice having our two person family
