i think just the freedom to go out whenever we feel like it.

DH and i love to just call up friends and say 'lets gtg for a some drinks" just as much on a tues nite as we do on a saturday. i like knowing that if we wanted to get in the car and take a weekend trip--we can--without worrying about baby sitters or anything.

this is exactly how I feel!

same here!!!

Definitely traveling, free time, picking up and just going, and my money for me!

The freedom! for sure! Its bad enough that I have to find a sitter for my dog when I go away but at least when I leave the house for a few hours I know I can leave him alone lol

Chat Icon I can't even commit to a dog. I have a cat since they are much lower maintainence and can even be alone for a weekend with an auto feeder! That shows you how much I value my freedom! Chat Icon

I can relate to the pet thing. We knew we wanted a dog but didn't want to make our first a puppy because we were going to have to get used to having a responsibility first! I'm very glad we didn't get a puppy now. It's not hard per se to care for him, it's just something I need to consider before I make plans.

A puppy... I don't know if I could handle that. Chat Icon

When Lana was a puppy, I nearly had a nervous break down! We just adopted another dog who's already two years old and it is so much easier!

me too! i was so close to bringing him back to the breeder because he needed so much attention and was literally acting like a baby. but we've pulled through and he's my furbaby. anytime my mom asks when shes getting a grandchild i say she already has one.

Sleeping late, being able to be spontaneous, our quiet evenings together.

You need to find one of these for your breed:

Initially, I think the not being able to sleep through the night thing would be really rough. I am NOT able to function well when I don't get enough sleep.

Other than that, the ability to get out the door in under an hour in the morning.

sleeping late, not having DH all to myself anymore, not being able to do/go what/where I want at the drop of a hat....

getting uninterrupted sleep... i NEED my sleep and i'm horrible if i don't sleep well... so i can't imagine if we had a baby!!
also- being able to go out to nice dinners every weekend. i like the break from cooking, but it would be a lot harder to afford if we had kids.

Last minute dinners with the girls! Being able to just do something spur of the moment! The fact that I'll have to actually cook every night and can't just say "umm...I think I'll just eat cereal tonight" Chat Icon Chat Icon

Being able to do what we want when we want to do it - like deciding to go away for the weekend on a moments notice.

I learnt, or was reminded, the hard way last weekend that babies and necklaces don't mix Chat Icon
