And I was really loving this board because I felt safe to say things I normally wouldn't for fear of offending someone.
I thought that here- since we all shared some of the same ideas etc- it would be ok....
Like I said before- some of the stuff on Parenting and Pregnancy makes me "sick" as well- but those boards weren't meant for me so I just stay off them....
Remember what we always say- "don't like it, don't read it"

I was really happy about this board, i thought it was an excellent idea, but we have to be worried each and everytime we say something that the parents are going to be so highly offended then really what is the point.
Point is, no matter what we (childless) will always feel judged
They are reading this board and judging us and how we feel about not having children

Some parents are insecure in the fact that they made a choice that we possibly 'look down on'.
But they don't realize, we feel the same from the other direction.

No, see, we DON"T have to be worried b/c this is OUR place and if others want to come and read and comment they have to get that they are in the minority and we will continue to express ourselves and support each other. We are not here to support parents, only other CHILDLESS families.

No, see, we DON"T have to be worried b/c this is OUR place and if others want to come and read and comment they have to get that they are in the minority and we will continue to express ourselves and support each other. We are not here to support parents, only other CHILDLESS families.
see, that is where I disagree...why be so divisive? Why not support each other, whether you be childfree or parents?

We deal with this on a day to day basis with people around us not agreeing with us not wanting to have children. Now we have a place to vent to each other and we have to be censored here too. Which suuuuucks.

I just wish people would get over the higher then now attitude on some of these boards.
As i posted, read all you want, comment if you like but if someone is expressing "why i didn't want to get pregnant" then do not get insulted and take it as they are judging you for having a child.

I do not think any of us should have to be censored but this is a public message board and people are going to lurk and comment if they feel like it, there is no way to prevent that without censoring other, KWIM?

Because this board is for CHILDLESS families. I can support you on families helping families, relationships, etc. I shouldn't have to worry about what I say here...I happen to be childless NOT by choice and in a society so child driven it is nice to have a place I get to feel a little normal!

I agree with Stephanie.... heck, people get offended over on the Pet board.
