Thanks I was wondering the same thing! I would love to work in the School Districts as a Secretary! I know pretty boring but it would be the ideal Job once I have a family!

fyi...they just had the clerk typist listed again but the deadline to apply was last weekChat Icon

Not sure if you are aware, but secretaries don't have the same schedule as teachers. I always thought they did, but they work during vacations and summer. The hours are still nice (our secretaries work 8-4)

Yes but I am hoping that once you get in then it's easier to move around regarding tests and availbility.

my friend has a secreterial job (title may be something different though) in a public school and she is off vacations/holidays.

did anyone apply for the clerk typist test on 4/22? i am waiting to hear what location and time it will be, after I applied, they said it would be mailed but i haven't received anything yet.

I believe they mail it the week before the test date.
