Ours took 3 hours. He looks at everything. He tells you what you should do about things as he goes along. Like how to fix or maintain. He stopped at each level of the house to make notes & when he was finsished he gave the whole report then with some general house info. Posted 5/11/05 8:09 PM |

He is supposed to check everything. Ours "supposedly did buthe was horrible. Said the house was fine and gave us this huge book of stuff about it and then after we moved in our basement leaked everytime it rained and now we have termites. Posted 5/11/05 8:59 PM |

Ours took about 3 hours on the first day but had to come back a couple of days later because there was snow on the roof and he couldn't get on it. Engineers should check out all the plumbing, electrical, heating and A/C, walls, floors, outside the house, basement and attic, roof, and sometimes pests. Posted 5/11/05 9:35 PM |

Our inspector looked at EVERYTHING, He checked all outlets, turned on all water, flushed toilets, turned on & ran all appliances. The he checked every crevice of every room & the attic, basement, foundation, climbed the roof, and even checked the surrounding property. Posted 5/13/05 10:09 AM |
