My big plan for when Emma, Jeremy, possible #3 & #4 are in school is to sit around the house and do NOTHING for the first year atleast! I deserve it! Being a SAHM is sooo exhausting being on call 24-7 that Im going to need atleast a year to recoop After that I may go out and get a flexible PT job just to occupy my time.

What happens when your children are in school full time?

Are you planning on staying a SAHM or will you think about getting a job?

my mom and mil are/were sahm, I know they thought of going to get a job but I dont think it panned out for either one of them as far as myself, I would like to get a job near my house that doesnt require much traveling since my boys are in school fulltime. So I can take them to their afterschool activities easier and not have to rely on other people.

I think I want to stay home for the time allotted by the company and then work a few days a week and work my way back to full-time and probably have my parents babysit. They would LOVE it!

well hopefully i will be teaching by then so i will be in school when they are...BUT...my ultimate dream is to be a writer and make my own schedule...have a home office etc.

I am not going to be a SAHM. I feel as a teacher I can still work.

Im a SAHM and I wont be going back to work.
I still have to clean, cook, run errands and take care of the kids when they get home.
Thats a job in itself!

i definitely want to stay home w/ my kids ... fh took a great job so that i could. we both think it's a good idea.

i'll do something part-time (from home if possible) to make extra $$ and when kids are in school i'll prob stick w/ the same

Work an adjusted schedule +/- a nanny.

I would like to be a SAHM and then when the kids are in school full time I think I would get a part time job. A lady that I work with works 9-1 and she's still home in time for her kids when they get home from school and she can take them to things at night. Seems like a good situation.
