I'm not sure if I'll be a SAHM or where my career will lead me, but I'd like to be SAHM, and this si why teaching seems pretty ideal, I'll be home when the kids are home and working when they are in school. If I'm not a teacher, I'll defintiely get at least a part time job when they kids go to school, Hopefully I'll have some kind of at home career in arts or I'll be directing which will let me work nights and be home during the day Message edited 5/11/2005 7:25:21 PM. I'm not planning to be a SAHM but if I was, I don't the point of staying home full time after the kids are in school full time. At that point I would certainly at least work part time. Posted 5/11/05 7:22 PM |

most likely I will stay home with my daughter until she starts school, then I will go back to school to finish my bachelor and hopefully go back to work. Posted 5/11/05 7:24 PM |

Ideally I will get a job in a school so that I will have the same days off as my kids. Posted 5/11/05 7:29 PM |

IF I do get the opportunity to be a SAHM, I would probably get a PT job when my children are in school full-time, just to keep me occupied. Posted 5/11/05 7:29 PM |

As soon as Danielle was in pre-school, I went back to work, and school full time!!! It was extremely hard, but worth it!! Posted 5/11/05 7:59 PM |

No I am going to still stay at home. I feel like just because my child is in school, I still have a household to take care of. I don't want to come home from work tired, cook, clean, help with homework, give baths, get ready for the next day, put kids to bed, and find time to be a wife. I want my days to be for homemaking, and my afternoons and nights to be spend on my kids and husband. The ladies I work with have children in school, and they don't seem to have any time at all. I want to cook dinner everyday. I don't want my weekends to be filled with catching up on cleaning that I could not do during the week. I want to be able to go to little league games and enjoy our together time. (This would not be possible if I stayed in NY, so we are relocating) Posted 5/11/05 8:05 PM |

My big plan for when Emma, Jeremy, possible #3 & #4 are in school is to sit around the house and do NOTHING for the first year atleast! I deserve it! Being a SAHM is sooo exhausting being on call 24-7 that Im going to need atleast a year to recoop Posted 5/11/05 8:19 PM |

I would love to be a SAHM mom and have a small part time job (when we have kids)... But when they go to school I would like to work while they are in school and be home when they are. Posted 5/11/05 8:39 PM |

When all of my kids are in school I will probably get some type of job. I have no idea what because I don't honestly know what I would be qualified for at that point other than chnaging diapers and other mommy thing. I know I am so pathetic! Posted 5/11/05 8:55 PM |
