I keep on checking my on-line bank to see if the check was cashed yet...nope...what is the next expense??? Is the next expense in the thousands?

I'm not exactly sure your of your agencies payment structure but yes the next payment was in the thousands - the agency bill for filing the completed dossier. You may have to pay your homestudy though too if you haven't done allready.

My program is probably different but we paid $450 when we sent out dossier in. Our next payment is several thousands...but that is only when we accept our referal.

Every program and every agency works differently. You agency should be able to give you a good estimate of expenses that correspond to your timeline. We didnt have any large (thousands of $$$) expense until we received our first referral. The second big payment was made just before we traveled. Talk to your agency I am sure they can lay things out for you.

I received a receipt in the mail along with a letter from Homeland Security. You will likely get this once they cash your check. Next payment is the HUGE one, at least for the Korea program.
