Homestudy...

do i serve cake and coffee tomorrow?

It's a nice touch to have something out. I put out a cheese platter and ice tea but she didn't eat or drink anything!

I offered but the s/w said "no thankyou"..

My SW never even has a glass of water. We have met her 3 times, our initial home study and out first two post placement reports.

I know everyone will tell you the same thing but just try to relax and use your SW as the resource they are trained to be. If the have experience in IA they can be a wealth of information on attachment, what you can expect when your child is first home etc.

I always had something to eat. The first time we met Maureen I made a cake (SOOO DOMESTIC) LOL But DH was in the middle of breakfast when she came, so she had eggs with him instead. How funny. She always eats something when she comes over.
