I crave nothing but junk food, so it's very hard. I cut all caffeine out of my diet though and I try to drink at least 8 glasses of water and 1 glass of milk a day. Posted 5/11/05 6:43 PM |

I have been really good about what I eat. At the beginning I was horrible because I was so sick. After my 3 month mark I started meeting with a nutritionist in order to make sure I was eating what I needed and not what I was craving. It is really hard to stay on track. Posted 5/11/05 6:59 PM |

I try to eat good, I have fruits and vegies. When I crave fast food, I eat it because if I don't I will be obsessed with it until I do eat it (I don't eat it too often...) During the day as snacks I'll have a Special K bars (only 90 caleries) or a 100 calorie pack of cookies. Since I get nauseous at night I have not been snacking after dinner. Posted 5/11/05 7:48 PM |

I was very good in the beginning... I definitely didn't have cravings that early on anyway, so it was easy. Now, I'm still good for breakfast and lunch (breakfast is usually egg whites on whole wheat, lunch is usually salad) but my appetite has increased ten fold in my last trimester and I could scare you with the sheer quantity of food I could consume if the size of this baby allowed me to. I'm so bad with this pregnancy - I'm hungry all the time. Actually RAVENOUS is more the word. I really need to start watching my diet and next week I'm going back to the gym and/or walking at Sunken Meadow with my mom. Posted 5/12/05 3:39 AM |

I drink lots and lots of water, even though it puts me in the bathroom all day long. I also eat a lot of fruit, such as apples, oranges, pears. I usually eat pretty healthy for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its the portions that get me! I am usually feeling sooo hungry, but then when I'm eating I find I can't eat as much as I would like because I have a hard time breathing! At my last doctor visit I had gained 4 pounds, but the one before I gained nothing, so I guess I'm doing so so with that. I'm sure it will go up again at my next visit! I feel like I am huge!!! During my first trimester I couldn't eat anything other than cereal. My doc said that was fine - as long as I was taking my vitamins. Now (beginning my thirst trimester) I TRY to eat well, but it's tough. I just don't crave veggies, but I definitely crave ice cream daily! i have good days and bad days. When I am good I eat extremely healthy but then there are some days (like today) where I will eat anything that isnt nailed to the table. it's scary how much food I can consume!! Posted 5/13/05 12:51 PM |

I use to eat really bad! But now I'm off of all dairy, so all my favorite stuff like chocolate, pancakes, cheese, donuts, etc are out, I can't hardly eat anything, it stinks, but I figure it will help me gain less weight (this was my docs recommendation due to my middle child having a sever dairy allergy for her first 2 years of life) Posted 5/13/05 11:35 PM |
