Names are always fun to talk about We will keep the babies Ethiopian name as his middle name. There is a slight chance he will have a Biblical, English name such as Daniel. If that is the case we are not sure if we will change it or not. We have a few Theodore (Theo) Jason Ty John (after Scott's grandfather) Chase
Of course Chase is a new addition so things do and can change. We do not share our name choices with family though! I learned that lesson with Molly when in the first few weeks people were asking me about names that I liked. People would say "Oh, we like X the best" or "oh...I don't like that one much"..so I decided to NOT share anymore since their opinion in this matter doesn't matter

We will be be naming our little girl, Ava. The middle name will be Belle. My mother and her grandmothers middle name is Bell, but we added the 'e'. We already talk about "Ava". We will also incorporate her chinese name somehow.

Right now it's:
Joseph Thomas
and
Kristen McKenna
But I guarantee you that will change, esp. the McKenna name.

So far we are thinking of Rebecca or Kayla. But I keep changing my mind! Tom instists though the name must have a vowel at the end - weird request i know!!

I don't know. I feel like McKenna sounds so Irish and so much like a last name but I love the way it flows with Kristen. I want Thomas Joseph (the name, not your dad, Michele .. ), but DH is already sacrificing by giving up Joseph Louis the Fourth so I'm probably going to give him this one.
I love all of the names you ladies picked out. This is so exciting, isn't it? All the joys of parenthood without stretch marks, nausea or fatigue.
ETA: We're also considering (and would like to) incorporate our child's Korean name in his/her Americanized name somehow, whether it's the actual name, a variation of it, or the English translation of it. A great example is on the sample Referral we looked at, the English translation of the girl's name is Jade, so we would pick that. Is anyone else considering something like this?

Karen, I can't wait to meet you husband. He sounds so awesome. That's so something a guy just wouldn't get .... I LOVE Kayla but I'm biased bc it's the name of my neice (goddaughter). I actually like Rebecca and Kayla together in that order. Or are you doing the Chinese name in the middle?
