Homestudy is Friday!

Sandra	We have our homestudy Friday at 3:30pm...I called our cleaning lady last week, and she didn't know if she was available--can I say I was quite stressed until she called last night saying she'll be at our house on Wednesday. whew, I have cleaned but I need her for the floors and dusting..othewise we are all set. I just home the train arrives in Ronkonkoma on time. LOL. All our paperwork is done, we mailed in the $ for the I600A and application, we met another China couple at our 8 hour class this wkend from Ronkonkoma who seem very nice.... Fingerprints are next I am guessing! Oh we got a bunch of Adoption magazines this wkend at our class. excited! Posted 2/27/06 10:47 AM
michele31	How exciting!! Good luck..keep us posted. The homestudy is really not a huge stress factor. Remember your agency is here to help you with your adoption, not prevent you from adoption Posted 2/27/06 11:41 AM

Sandra	thanks Jenn: but there is LOTS of dog hair and dust, 3 loads+ of laundry dumped on the living room couch...and we don't have kids yet and I can't keep up w/ the laundry... that scares me! Posted 2/27/06 12:08 PM

Sandra	Our social worker is "jenifer" (jen?)...I think she lives in Riverhead. She sounds young. I can't recall her last name. I am starting to feel better; it's funny, i had been putting off making a phone call to someone, and after I made the call, I started feeling better...and i am sure I will feel MUCH better after the homestudy! I got my passport back yesterday! Now we just need Scotts! And I think I had my first 'baby dream/China baby' last night! Posted 2/28/06 8:09 AM

Susan	You guys crack me up...seriously. I wonder if we'll have the same SW, Sandra. I'm happy you're going first. You can tell me what to expect. Who did you call that made you feel better? I was happy to wake up from that one! I had to call this woman I am an "assistant" to at the real estate office who I haven't spoken to since xmas..I said I'd call after the new year, but honestly, we have been sooo busy and I have been sick and I don't feel like giving up wkends anymore and I don't feel like doing real estate, and I had to call her, it was weighing me down and even though I called and left a message, she called me back, and now we are phone tag, but I made the call and that was a relief.
