ADHD? Anyone dealing with it?

Yes, Nicholas has ADHD and is on medication for it, which helps him dramatically.

When was he diagnosed with it, if you don't mind me asking? How was he as a toddler?

He was 5, in K. He wasn't ever hyper really, just had an inability to focus. I guess it wasn't really a noticeable issue until he started EI pre-school at 3 where he was required to focus in a group setting. He always needed constant re-direction to stay on task. He still does require re-direction, even on the meds, but it's 100 time worse without.

So, did you find that you had a tough time re-directing him? With Steven I have a very tough time redirecting him. If he is focused, he's too focused (or so 'they' say) and if he's not focused, forget about even getting his attention at all.
