Can I brag for a second?

I am just so proud of Ryan!

I have seen so much improvement from him in just the last couple of months. For those that don't know, he has a speech delay and is currently in an EI class in school 3 days per week.

When he first started, he had a couple of approximations, no real words.

Now, he is saying "baby" when appropriate, and says it very clear (this is huge for us since we have been waiting for real words to come). He also has been imitating words like cookie (he says coo-coo, or something like this), and so many other words I can't even remember. He also repeats what we say (like if I say, Grandpa Joe is coming over, he will say ba-ba oo, for Grandpa Joe), and in general is repeating syllables of words that he can't say.

He also started singing along to Jack's Big Music Show, and imitated all the dance moves and remembers and imitates what the characters are doing, even before they do them.

I know this is not a big deal for most parents, but for us, we are so happy that he is coming along and really making progress!
