OT/PT Eval - Help!

I just got back from DD's 4 yo nursery parent-teacher conference. Her teacher recommended that she have a OT/PT evaluation. Can someone help me understand this better? The teacher said she has issues w/ fine motor skills (cutting w/ scissors, writing) and sensory issues. I am a little overwhelmed and scared since I am not sure what this all means. Can anyone help me out?

Those are some of the issues that Jacob has and that is why we got an eval.. He also has a short attention span and for some reason cries alot...
