the sisterhood of the traveling pants

ok...so it is a young adult book....so what. i LOVED it. have now not only read the first but the second one too and i need to go and get the third! makes me miss all my girls....

I just read the first and the second in less than a week - I think i need to go out and buy the 3rd now!

ETA: althuogh i read them in such a short period of time i think i picked up on something her editor didnt...in the first book they talk about how of the 4 girls they went to 3 different schools...well in the 3rd one they are all going to a school event TOGETHER!

(i also like that they take place in bethesda md, where i live SO...i like figuring out which places really exist etc)

I have wanted to read this for a while, even before it became a movie. Its also been so popular at all the libraries I worked.

My girls (5th graders) devoured these books!!! We talked about how it is similar to Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood! They were so enthusiastic about these books!

I just read the first one a couple of weeks ago...even though it's technically for teens, I am sure most of related to these girls in some ways. I know if I read this book when I was a kid it would have been a big time favorite!

i read the first one in a matter of days - i lent it to someone at work b/c its just that good.

I loved the first 2, I am currently reading the third book. GOOD STUFF! Now I want to see the movie.
