I found a couple, but all for younger children. Does anyone know of any for older children (9)? We had tried My Gym but I don't think Nicholas really fit in there since his needs weren't as severe as the other children in the class. TIA Posted 11/13/08 10:12 AM |

There's a new sensory gym in Stony Brook that i was really impressed with. Posted 11/13/08 11:27 AM |

Thanks Lea! I'll look into it. Unfortunately there are no OT's that accept Nicholas' insurance so I'll be paying OOP anyway Posted 11/13/08 1:26 PM |

We use Island Therapies in Deer Park. I always see older children there. Posted 11/13/08 9:25 PM |

Kerri, do you go to the Saturday morning program at Island Therapies? I was looking at that but it has the younger age group. The cost is reasonable. I think I'll call them next week and see if they accomodate older children for that program. Posted 11/14/08 6:46 AM |

No, we go for private therapy. I'm sure they have programs for older children. Lance is usually the youngest one there. Posted 11/14/08 12:40 PM |
